A life-long animal lover and dog owner. I currently live with two gorgeous Petit Basset Griffon Vendeens, a Grand Basset Griffon Vendeen, a Grand Griffon Vendeen rescued from Spain and a Smooth Haired Fox Terrier.

I have always groomed my current dogs myself, and found it a lovely way to bond with them. I have even shown three of them at Crufts. I started grooming other peoples' dogs from my home on a table in the kitchen in 2015! But those dog hairs soon became a problem and we converted a room in our house and set up Dog Hairs Grooming Room in 2017. Numbers quite quickly increased and 7 years ago I gave up my 9 to 5 job to follow my passion to work with and care for dogs.

With over 250+ fabulous returning customers we expanded the business again and in 2019 moved to Melbourne town centre on Derby Road. We have also increased our range of services.

We now have a team of 4 groomers all qualified and experienced holding Level 2 City & Guilds and Level 3 Diploma qualifications held in dog grooming, plus an up to date canine first aid certificate. But more importantly, over 3000 grooms undertaken over the past few years. The Dog Hairs team are experienced in all types of dog grooming and can offer this on a personal basis in a lovely calm environment. We will always look after your dog like it is one of my own, your dog’s wellbeing is at the centre of what we do.
